Kangana Ranaut recently bagged the Best Actress at the National Awards for ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ and ‘Panga’. While she played the lead in both the films, she also donned the director’s hat for ‘Manikarnika…’.

Taking to her Twitter handle, Kangana shared a video of herself where she is seen expressing her gratitude towards her cast and crew, friends, family, and her fans.

The 67th National Film Awards were announced in New Delhi today. The ceremony bestowed honours on films and artistes for the year 2019.

The awards were initially going to be held in May last year but were delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. The awards are given out by the Directorate of Film Festivals, an organisation that comes under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

On the work front, Kangana has films like, ‘Thalaivi’, ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’ in her kitty.
