Several parts of NCR are likely to receive rain, lightning, thunderstorm, and hailstorm on Monday under the influence of a western disturbance, according to the forecast of India Meteorological Department. A weatherman said Delhi might receive rain over the next three days, providing some much-needed relief from the soaring mercury. From Monday, vaccination will be carried out from 9am to 9pm at all Delhi government hospitals as announced by the chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday. Hospital authorities said they have made arrangements, including deployment of additional staff, to carry out 12-hour-long inoculation drives every day. The carriageway from Daryaganj to Kashmere Gate will be closed for all vehicular traffic for the next one month due to development work by PWD at the Red Fort side.
