NEW DELHI: Earlier this month, it was reported that Samsung is planning to stop the manufacturing of Exynos powered Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
It was reported that Samsung is planning to release the Snapdragon 865 version of the smartphone and will stop manufacturing Exynos 990 powered Galaxy S20 FE.
Proving the report right, the South Korean tech giant has introduced the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE powered by Snapdragon 865 processor. The Swedish website of the company has listed the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G variant of the smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
Until now the Snapdragon 865 powered Galaxy S20 FE was limited to the 5G version of the smartphone and 4G variant came with Exynos 990 which powered by last year launched Galaxy S20 series of smartphones.
This new 4G model of the smartphone with Snapdragon 865 is said to be priced at 630 euros ( Rs 56,875). This new variant smartphone shares similar specifications as the earlier variant of the handset.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE specifications
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The Infinity O display of the smartphone comes with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone comes in two variants — 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with Samsung’s own layer of UI. The handset sports a triple rear camera setup with 12MP main sensor with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, and 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The water-resistant smartphone comes equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor. It is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging and wireless PowerShare feature.
