NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics will launch its next-generation Galaxy Z Fold3 smartphone this year. If rumours are to be believed then the company might launch its latest foldable smartphone in July this year.
Now a new leak reveals that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 will be powered by the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. According to Ice Universe, the foldable smartphone will come with a similar price tag as its predecessor and will be powered by the flagship processor.
The leakster further adds that the new model of the smartphone will be 13 grams lighter in comparison to the Galaxy Z Fold2. This weight reduction can be attributed to the new Armor Frame. Rumours also suggest that Samsung might include a titanium or carbon fibre frame which is lighter than the steel and aluminium frame.
Another rumour suggests that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is said to come with water resistance. If this is true then it will be the first foldable smartphone to come with water and dust resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is said to be backed by a 4380mAh battery which is slightly smaller than the battery of Z Fold2 which the company launched last year.
It is also said that the main Galaxy Z Fold3 is said to come with a 7.55-inch main screen instead of the 7.6-inch screen of Galaxy Z Fold2.
It is also said that the smartphone will come with an Ultra Thin Glass display with 120Hz refresh rate. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 is expected to come with S Pen support but it will not have a slot for the stylus.
